我が家で飼っていた室内犬、ビビ。

ボスの両親が亡くなって、

留守番をすることになりました。

だれもいない家はつまらない。

さびしい・・・

ビビは、すっかり元気がなくなってしまいます。

やがて、ボスがヨメを迎えます。

新しい群れができたのです。

ビビは、群れのナンバーツー。

ボスを支える立場です。

ヨメは、実は、マペット使いでした。

さびしそうなビビに、群れのメンバーを連れてきます。

チビ。こいつはオレが面倒を見る。

年を取ったビビ。

群れの責任を果たそうと、活躍します。

I wore a mask at an event in my hometown of Fukushima Prefecture,

I was able to open a store on commission.

Yuki-onna has come

 

子どものころからお面が好きでした。

短大の時に授業で実際に作って、ますます好きになりました。

軽くて、バリエーションがあって、

そんな素材を探していたら、

「張り子」の技法に行きつきました。

今、ようやく、創作張り子で制作したお面が、

「売ってみないですか」

とお声かけ頂けるようになりました。

実は、創作絵本も数年手がけていました。

今回、張り子のお面を絵本にしてみました。

雪女まつりはじめ、各地の出展で、お目にかかれれば光栄です。
