蝦夷の英雄アテルイさん、モレさん終焉の地と伝えられ、
「伝阿弖流為・母禮之塚」が建立されています。
毎年九月二十三日に慰霊祭が行われ、
私も謡い舞いを奉納しようと夜行バスに乗りました。
