古代えみしの貫頭衣をイメージした、手縫いの衣装です。

主祭神
己等乃麻知比売命（ことのまちひめのみこと）忌部の神である玉主命（たまぬしのみこと）の娘神様で、中臣の祖である興台産命（こことむすびのみこと）の后神様です。また、枚岡神社や、春日大社にお祭りされている天児屋根命（あめのこやねのみこと）の母神様です。
ことのまちの「こと」は「事」でもあり「言」でもあります。また「まち」は「麻知」でも「真知」でもあります。真を知る神、言の葉で事を取り結ぶ働きをもたれる神様として、また、言の葉を通して世の人々に加護を賜う「ことよさし」の神として敬われています。天と地と人を結ぶ、とても大切なお働きをなさる神様です。
＊上代「ことよさし」という言葉は「ことよす」という語にさらに敬意を含めたもので、「高い神が御言葉を以て、また事になぞられて顕世に御力をいたされる、真を伝えられる」の意味で、記紀にしばしば用いられています。
＊興台産命（こことむすびのみこと）は、言霊の神様で、四国の天川神社にお祀りされています。
